ok i just looked it up and its called a flesh-fly that feeds on dung and rot and grows from maggots. now i don't feel so bad :)
i just swatted at a big, beautiful fly on the window at work, just to see if i could out-quick it.
i did.
it died.
and now i feel really sad :(
