went to church with micah this morning. wasn't exactly what i expected (something more radical and less churchy i guess), but was awesome just the same. the theme was thanksgiving, obv, and it kind of fit right in with what i've been thinking on lately. carry that staff of gratitude everywhere and begin each day in thanks. this i can definitely cling to in moments of weakness and want.
then went straight up to campus to watch zack sing in mozart's requiem, which was incredible. it began with a different mozart piece with a slim, young woman on viola and an older man on violin playing in the most beautifully harmonious way musically and visually. truly emphasized the wondrous inclusivity of classical music and made my heart swoon and moon.
then spent about 7 hours doing work for my PoMo research methods class, which has left me super stoked actually! its never as hard as it seems, is it?
