part two: life
i just took a "what religion am i?" quiz after the recent realization that i would like to find some kind of mentor or guru, a teacher that could provide me with some guidance and structure in terms of wisdom and spirituality. something in between a life coach, a mentor and a guru...maybe a big sister too. in that way i'm also looking forward to going back to school (super cheap awesome school because i am an official resident...booya!).
i'm feeling happier already with my return to derby and being coached. i hope my skating/skills improve as rapidly as i anticipate they will. i had these memories of this one girl as being super awesome and connectable when i was here last...and i saw her again today and will be staying over with her on saturday after the screening, so hopefully she'll be a rad new friend of mine :) also chilled and burned a bit with a fresh meat, who rules...she is into ferrets and lots of weed smoking, so hopefully we'll be good friends as well.
i've been making friends all over the place...the express bus driver asked me out the first time i met him and then i've seen him twice on the bus since. he lets me on for free and we chat a bit. it's cool :) pretty much the only thing i haven't made any steps towards is getting a job, but i and everyone i seem to mention it to, feel incredibly optimistic about my prospects.
also, i was killing time at trader joe's today and could barely contain myself from the boners i was popping. every person in this town is irresistibly cute. <3
