night kitty
skated over a snake yesterday on the levy. it was maybe half a meter and got startled, started flopping around. i shrieked like crazy and was shivering all the way to the boardwalk. snakes!!!
about to go hiking with bridgett and her friend sophie, whom i've never met. i'm pretty stoked about it. i woke up at 8 hoping to bike over to the secret lagoon, but it was overcast and i decided to do some schoolwork instead and now i am halfway through my book reviews. she's going to drop me off at the library on our way home, so i can pick up some board books. stoked stoked.
gray kitty is eating in her sleep by my side and i'm typing upon our new cherry blossom table cloth, looking directly at a beautiful short little cherry tree festooned with blossoms across the street. the sky is cloudy and gray and there is a wispy breeze rustling the leaves outside the window.
dane is in taipei eating tapioca and shaved ice, visiting SNAKE ALLEY and chewing betel nuts. funny how we are closer now than in a long time and farther away than we have ever been
